Freedom of choice; freedom from self-deceit; freedom from all the things that tie you down and hold you back. Freedom from what encumbers you. Literally encumbers, I mean equip load. The freedom to wear good items without moving really slowly.
Sometimes being granted death is also a kind of freedom.
