Oh man I screwed up :-( Lost some video here and couldn't even fix it with edits as the source was gone. Here's what happened in the missing portion at 1:21, to the best of my recollection:
Tarquin climbed around the prison-library, finding treasures and keys and opening doors. He walked on various ledges until eventually reaching the bottom by way of the alarm-gramophone thing, and manipulated it to avoid fighting most of the blue-head-thing snakes. He found a huge cage at the bottom with Big Hat Logan in it but didn't have the key; there were also a couple of weeping blueheadsnakes (!) carrying miracles which seemed to indicate that they were maidens of gwynevere transformed into monsters. Seath, he concluded, was a Bad Dragon.
Also, at some point during this +1 Endurance which was just enough to start moving faster again.
